Olivia and her four children were in danger. Faced with the option of being homeless, Olivia made the decision to courageously escape the relationship that kept sending her to the hospital. Knowing she needed more than safety to survive, she was referred to Arizona Women’s Education and Employment, Inc. (AWEE). To assist Olivia get on her feet and support her children for their future, AWEE quickly provided a housing referral and childcare support while she began employment and education training. AWEE even provided tuition towards classes at Mesa Community College. With AWEE by her side, Olivia became a full-time college student and small business owner. Her cleaning service now employs two women who are also recovering from domestic violence. Olivia and her children are facing a bright future.

Please take the first step by considering a commitment to become a VIP supporter of our mission to put people back on a positive track toward self reliance and the dignity that comes with a good job.

Throughout the Maricopa and Yavapai Counties, we offer a diverse range of evidence-based training and support services. In the first half of 2009, we served more individuals than in all of 2008. The demand for AWEE's services has never been greater, yet the funds available to support our programs are more limited than ever before.

Consider joining as a Tracker – an AWEE investor who sees the incredible value and transformation their $1,000 or more investment can make in the lives of people in their own community, struggling to take the next step toward stability.

"When everything seemed hopeless, AWEE helped me create a life I can be proud of and a future I can believe in.”
- 2008 Faces of Success Honoree Gail Rossi
